Paco Romane

Paco Romane

Paco Romane is one of those guys who's done a little bit of everything, from stand-up, acting, writing, and improv to voice-overs (The Voice of Pandora Radio), podcasts, and producing comedy shows. His "hilarious comedy" (The A.V. Club) is engaging and authentic and has established him as a crowd favorite. It's hard to compare Paco to any comedian working today because "to call Paco Romane an original is no exaggeration" (Digital Journal). Known as a "versatile mash-up of everything comedic" (SF Sketchfest), Romane is a natural entertainer ready to riff on bad breakups or poke fun at himself and his everyman physique. If you head to his show, "prepare to be charmed by Romane and his easy-going, self-effacing ways, but remember no hugs. Romane is a strict non-hugger "(Santa Cruz Sentinel).

Paco is also an adept sketch comedy writer and performer, and years of performing have kept Paco Romane at the "top of the comedy scene, and he keeps audiences riveted and coming back for more with live comedy shows and TV gigs" (NBC).

Twice voted Best Comedian by The SF Bay Guardian and the SF Weekly, he has been referred to as "one of the greatest Bay Area comedians" (Spinning Platters) and has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, music, and even sports. Paco recently recorded a track improvising a spot-on Casey Kasem impression with hip-hop legend E-40, shot a commercial with NBA champions Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes, and have worked with everyone from Norm MacDonald, Nate Bargatze, Maria Bamford, Ali Wong, James Adomian, Robin Williams and many others. He is a favorite performer in SF Sketchfest (12x) and Outside Lands Festival (2x) as a comedian, improviser, podcaster, and sketch performer.

He has appeared on Comedy Central, Drunk History, Nickelodeon, HBO, Funny or Die, numerous national commercials as on-camera talent and voice-over (The Voice of Pandora Radio). In 2015 Paco started the premier podcast about documentaries Sup Doc where he interviews terrific guests from the worlds of television, film, comedy, podcasts, and more.

Robin Williams once quipped "Paco is sharp as a knife and quick as lightning with just the right amount of charm."
